I absolutely love this place's red wine jelly. I've gotten their jelly in jars to bring home a few times, but the most recent time, I show up; no red wine jelly. Apparently it's out of season now, they changed their menu for the summer. I was devasted. I said to my wonderful waitress, Adriana, that I simply did not know what I'd do without my red wine jelly with my bagel in the morning. I felt like a ghost that has yet to reach the afterlife, wandering about without purpose. My moms friend who was with us suggested I write a note for the chef, and I happen to keep a notebook and pen in my bag (mainly for journaling), but also for situations that call for it. And this one, very much did. So, I wrote a note for the line chef expressing how much I yearn for some of my red wine jelly. I gave it to Adriana to give the chef, and a bit later Shawn the chef comes out to my table personally to let me know that he appreciates my love of the jelly, and that it will be sold again to the public in the fall, but for the mean time he gave me a little to-go sauce container of red wine jelly. In my letter I also said I would really appreciate a whole full sized mason jar worth of it, if that's possible. He said he would try to have one for me by the next time I went. I gave him a hug and told him to a have not a great night, or rest of the week, no, to have just a great all of life in general. I gave him a hug and just said "I love you!" I was just so enthralled. Delighted. Overcome in merriment and pure joy. I sat at that table in awe, my hands in fists and arms waging in excitement. An untamed smile not from ear to ear, but from corner of eye to corner of the other eye. I felt jolly and merry enough to replace Sir Santa Clause himself. On our way out, my mom thanked Shawn for making my day. He said that it was actually me that made his day, and I thanked him myself as well. I can't drink so I have no clue how good their actual wine is. BUT THAT RED. WINE. JELLY! Also their staff team was so lovely to me (this time and other times), and this moment is going to be something I look back on for years to come. Paglione's, you have gained yourself a lifelong customer. And if the owner EVER fires my Lord and Saviour Shawn I WILL throw hands. That man is the embodiment of the goodness of humanity, and I wish him nothing but the...
Read moreWe have visited Paglione Estate Winery twice. The pizza is fantastic, we had it both times. Our first visit was on a Sat or Sun and we had the most wonderful waitress and great service. We had our dog with us, Golden Retriever, and were sitting at the corner of the patio near the grass. Our dog had a nice visit too, and enjoyed attention from a few guests, all was well. We went last Fri, late afternoon, for the second time as we couldn't stay away from the pizza. I called beforehand and made our reservation for the patio and asked if there was a spot available as we wanted to bring our dog. I was told that was fine. When we arrived I went inside to let them know we were there and to be seated. My husband waited outside near the side of patio. The hostess looked up my name and showed me outside to a table. Immediately, another waitress yelled across the patio, "NO, I HAVE TO SEAT THEM THEY HAVE A DOG!" As if we were wielding a poisonous snake. Anyway, we walked over to side of patio to be out of the way while this waitress finished with her table. She came over to us as to show us to another table but she was beyond rude. She looked at our dog and mentioned something about her being excited, how they don't want dogs jumping on guests, and, "oh, will your dog be ok near this other dog? " Dog can't be on patio, has to stay on the grass.... We felt unwelcome from the moment we stepped on the patio. As yours is a dog friendly establishment I wasn't expecting a waitress to act and talk so rudely about our dog especially since she did nothing wrong and we had only just arrived. A man at a table next to ours, even said he was sorry at the way we were treated. The pizza was great and our new waitress was as well but it definitely...
Read moreOctober 20, 2024. Beautiful Sunday afternoon. Busy patio, enjoying the day. Ordered our favorite wine and Stallone pizza. Our server was very pleasant and always checked on her customers. We always have a great time when we visit Paglione Winery. Thank you, Alannah! 😀
Visited again on April 7th, 2024. Of course we enjoyed our visit again. The server was very kind and served wine and pizza in less than 20 minutes. Patio is getting ready for the beautiful spring weather fast approaching. This establishment is on our top 10 choices of favorite winerys to visit. Thank you to the staff & management for always making sure your patrons are happy! Cheers & enjoy!
Beautiful Spring day welcomes our winery tour to commence. Pleasant, beautiful, and welcoming is the best way to describe our visit. Started with wine followed by thier famous pizza. Our choice was the Stallone ..the taste from the goat cheese was perfectly perfect. Our server was the beautiful Carly..she was such an amazing part of our visit. We exchanged camping stories and couldn't be more impressed with the entire visit. This establishment offers a beautiful patio with a pizza oven and fire pits to mingle with all patrons. The inside is welcoming and has great detail. Our only reason for not visiting in the past is the driveway. It's gravel, and after raining, it is quite messy to drive down. With expensive toys on the road during summer months, a paved driveway would be...
