After the long and exhausting day I came in to eat some steak and I DID NOT GET WHAT I was expecting!

First of all when I came in there was no one at the door, okay I understand they might be busy I said to myself so I walked in to have a seat. As I was walking inside towards my seat a servant lady(extremely rude) she asked me “how can I help you?” - in such rude way that I almost walked away, but I was hungry and was planning to eat my steak so I replied I want to eat, is that a problem? She said “no” and she looked at me in such awkward way but I proceeded and I sat.

Finally she brought the MENU and I knew right away what I will eat so I ordered ribeye steak medium rare with EXTRA vegetables thinking that it shall come with some already so I will eat some vegetables extra. Not long after she brought the plate and plate was looking miserable!!! Only few broccolini whatever that green thing is and she brought me the damn stems not the tips of the vegetables. Amount of that green “branches” she brought did NOT indicate that there was any extra on the plate but definitely not steamed carrots, broccoli, asparagus NOTHING !!!!

Total disappointment!!!

I wonder what would she bring if I didn’t say extra????

I ate the meat and mashed potatoes but I left the “tree trunks” of that vegetable that she brought!!

I paid the bill and I wasn’t even asked “how was it?” - as if she had asked me I would say disappointing.

She charged me 2 dollars for “EXTRA” vegetables but she didn’t see the tree trunks left in the plate from that green thing she brought.

And she didn’t apologize for not having steamed carrots, broccoli, cauliflower and asparagus!!

what kind of the dump hole is this a restaurant without steamed vegetables?????

she was mad when she saw that there was no tip! Lady you gotta deserve the tip and this place should tip the people to come and eat here!

Last time here and I suggested everyone not to come and eat here service sucks, food isn’t up to the standards and for the price it’s not justified!

you ruined my day and idea of the perfect steak and dinner I hope my review ruins...

I came here a while ago now for a nice dinner on my way out of town. (Visiting town for work) I ordered the ribeye steak. I can't remember now what I ordered for a side. Aside from my experience with the steak, the food was delicious. I ate everything before I even got my steak, cooked the way I ordered it, that is. For a restaurant with pictures of what each preference should look like, WITH a worded description, I expect to get my steak cooked the way I order it. (Rare = cool red center)

I order my steak rare. The steak I received, sliced into the middle of the steak, there was no red whatsoever. It was pink through and through. Now, I will eat a medium steak. But when I'm paying a premium price for a premium cut at a STEAKHOUSE, I am not going to accept a medium cooked steak when I order it rare. (I never order anything but RARE, important for the next part of story.) After telling my server I wasn't happy with my steak, a woman who I presume to be the manager came out to speak with me. (She seriously needs to work on her attitude when dealing with unhappy, but sympathetic customers) and questioned me about how I ordered the steak. (Again, I NEVER order anything but RARE. At no point did the word MEDIUM come out of my mouth.) My steak gets remade. It comes cooked to PERFECTION. (THE WAY IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN TO START) But unfortunately, at this point, thanks to the MANAGER giving me a hard time about my complaint, I've entirely lost my appetite and my trust in the food I've been served. I ate a few bites and couldn't push myself to eat anymore. What a waste of money. If I ever find myself in Slave Lake again, I will go elsewhere as I treat myself on my way...

$90 wasted! This had to of been the worst restaurant I've ate at in my life. My ribs were hard as a rock I could barely cut it with a knife. Frozen fried but a lot of restaurants have those so I won't hold that against them. My coleslaw had no flavor it was like eating straight up cabbage. It definitely needed more sauce. Both mine and my boyfriend's garlic bread was also hard as a rock and also missing flavor (lacking the garlic spread). My boyfriend's meal wasn't any better. His steak was way under cooked. He had asked for mashed potatoes but instead received gross frozen fries and skimpy srivaled up green beans and carrots that might of been boiled for three seconds. That was the food aspect let's move on to the service. I dont think our waitress could bring a smile to her face even if we gave her keys to a new car. I asked for ranch dressing to dip our wings in and she let out a sigh. When our meal came I asked for extra rib sauce cause they seemed to be lacking sauce on them ribs too, she did it, but not before giving me a eye roll. At this point my patients had run dry and I wouldn't even look at the girl in fear I might get worse then an eye roll. On top of all this we waiting 15 mins to get the bill after she had already taken all the dishes and asked if we wanted a dessert menu. I've working in customer service for about 20 years and have been a waitress myself and I know the way we were treated and the quality of the food did NOT deserve a tip. I have never done that before in my life but this time it was totally not deserved. I hope this is just a 1 time bad experience but I will never go back to find...
