Burger Baron — Restaurant in Town of Swan Hills

I’m telling you guys this type of restaurant dosnt exsist anymore. The guys in the back are just the kindest nicest people. Not to be expected but every time I went in they gave me some sort of treat along with my order. My favourite were these kinda home made donuts that just make my mouth water thinking about them. Their burgers are probably the best I’ve ever had, pizza was absolutely delicious and they’re not expensive. If anything to cheap for what you get. If you’re ever in SwanHill AB you have to have to have to go here. Just the nicest bunch of people. I was here for work and really missed my kids and wife, esp her cooking and after my first time eating here I felt like they were my friends. Do yourself a favour and come here and check it out, say hello. And fyi, if it’s not on the menu they will still whip it up for you. Now do me a favour and tip well. I dont think I can support going here any longer. We have for years, even after getting sick from from food, being over charged, food not the best etc. Not to many choices in a small town. I dislike being over charged for things though I work hard for me money. Asked for an itemized receipt and he could not provide that. When asked for a menu gave me a bunch a run around how alot of the prices have changed. It's not the first time I have been over charged here. Unfortunately we won't be returning.

Added: this last time I referred to was not the first time we have been overcharged. An itemized receipt should be provided with orders especially when asked.I get prices rising but what I was charged for, what I got and what was told went up didn't add up. I get prices going up but how that was handled was not good. Then deciding to post to the town page cause you didn't like the review claiming...

After a really long, hard day at work, I stumbled across this place just as I was about to head back to Edmonton. I decided to grab a sandwich before hitting the road and ordered a spicy mushroom burger with bacon and cheese to go.

The packaging was solid and kept the sandwich warm for a good while. It looked almost exactly like the photo, and the taste—OMG—was fantastic: tasty, juicy, and easily one of the best burgers I’ve had in Alberta so far. The price was reasonable, too.
