We went for our 9th wedding anniversary and we are thinking of making this a tradition. The food was absolutely delicious, not one thing disappointed. My husband got the table d'hote that included a starter and main, I got from the market menu which included a potage, starter, main, cheese plate, dessert, and chocolates. The wine list had many options for different budgets and the cocktail list was quite extensive and well priced. The service was great, very friendly staff, they fully explained each part of the menu, came often to refill water and wine and to offer more warm bread. If you're looking for a place with a vibe, this is not it, if you want quaint, cozy, homey, and to be able to talk with your person/people this is a wonderful gem to discover. The only negative is that when you walk in the restaurant it smells like musty old carpet, but we are having a very hot/humid summer and you don't notice it anymore once the food starts coming out. Overall an amazing place and would highly recommend.

I found this restaurant simply by browsing the area while I was looking for driving directions. It seemed unusual for a restaurant of this caliber to be far out in the woods. I made a booking to find out what it was all about. I was pleasantly surprised by my discovery however very remote: there is no cellular phone reception. The owner greeted us with a warm welcome and we were seated by the fireplace which is centrally located inside the dining room. All the dishes ordered were nicely presented and were just as delicious. The portions were adequate and left us with a feeling of satisfaction. The wait between courses was ample. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you don’t mind the drive.

Nice restaurant. Calm country atmosphere. Good food. Expensive prices. But service quality does not get along. Not trying to be fussy but when you pay 300 $ for 2. Server Needs to listen to his customers needs. A couple that comes in for romantic atmosphere can't be placed next to a loud table especially when your restaurant is 3/4 empty. We wanted to try something different for a wine and Québec wines were in the menu. I told her what my wife doesn't like and that was exactly what we have got. Lol. Drinking together would have...
