We decided to drop in for a nice lunch today while we came out to check out the icebergs. The restaurant wasn't very busy & the service was pretty slow. Waited over an hour to get our food order. Most of the meals were good, but the fish & chips was a disappointment. The batter to fish ratio was 70:30 (70 being batter). The service was ok, but could definitely be better for a tourist area.

Love Auk island, the staff are always so nice and happy, funny, they always check to make sure you got everything you need, not to mention that there fish and chips is the best in twillingate so good crispy golden brown, definitely recommend to all my friends and family delicious

It's probably my favorite restaurant here in Twillingate. The food was great. Came out hot and fast. Service was top-notch. A great selection of their wine. With awesome names. I would recommend making a reservation at least for dinner. It can get very busy.
