This is a real gem in the heart of Port Loring! Modern and clean with a great cafe that serves excellent espresso (and various other drinks like lattes, hot chocolate, coffee and tea) and has incredible cinnamon twists that are baked daily. We came nearly daily for those. :) Their ice cream is also a treat in the afternoon when it's hot. The view sitting on the deck is incredible, the staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed - nothing too hurried, but done well. The gift shop, "Saturdays," has a great selection of very interesting items from housewares, to games, some toys and clothing. Saturdays has a large collection of cottage and home style collectables that are very reasonable priced. The cafe has a cellular booster, free internet, great local homemade bakery items, amazing soft serve ice cream, and barrista style coffee that is really good. The boat tours are also great and are an amazing way to soak in some local culture and history on the scenic Pickerel River system. You can also rent a canoe if you want to explore on your own.
