This was really unexpected experience. We have been to this place before and having no issues in the past decided to come over for a lunch on our way back to Winnipeg. Among few other things, we ordered pizza, which is the subject of this post. After getting the order , we took one piece each- me, my daughter, and my husband- and started eating. The pizza tasted strange, so I looked at it carefully. The top and the bottom were cooked, bottom even was over done, and the middle part looked raw. I took another piece, tried it, same. Then I went in to check the middle part, I pulled it apart with my fingers and the DOUGH was raw! I went to see the lady at the store, showed it to her, and expected to hear “ sorry about that, how can we fix that?”. Instead the gentleman, who I assume was the owner, started telling me it wasn’t raw, and that he will only compensate for half since we ate half of the pizza ( well, ate is the strong word, three people tried to eat it, and another piece that was started to reassure it was really raw). We did eventually get refunded for the pizza, after I said that they can keep the money if that’s what they feel is right. The money is not the point , the greediness is **This is to add to the response from the owner to the original post. First of all, I feel sorry you really think that pizza was cooked, and hope your visitors do not get sick from eating it. You guys cook it from frozen, that's why the top and the bottom gets cooked while the middle only has enough time to defrost( you don't need to be a chef to understand that). Secondly, you keep insisting the half of the pizza was eaten, but its purely not true since not even one piece was finished, only few bites were made in each, but you can call it whatever you like, its you right. Lastly, that pizza was nothing to be proud of, thanks God my 2.5 years old daughter only had 2 bites and is fine. If she wasn't, you would hear more from me, but for now, may your truth serve you!...
Read moreI love this place, me and my friend usually always come here when we go camping, everyone is great here. Im not sure if you guys do suggestions, but I was thinking you guys could make something that’s similar to poutine but it isn’t, for example the sauce is different, like the in n out sauce, you put it over the fires and top it with bacon pieces and green onion? Another would be mini pizzas, easy and quick to make, you don’t even need to make dough all you’d need for the base is naan bread, pizza sauce and whatever toppings!
I hope you see this and possibly consider it, please don’t change anything about your current food as it is really good....
Read moreThe poutine was good, it came nicely layered with a tasty stringy cheese and gravy. Overall I got the impression that the establishment new what they were doing. Nice atmosphere and the menu seemed to be well...
