Owl Wing Coffee House + Nordic Sport Centre — Restaurant in Unorganized Division No. 1

Wow!!! This place is a gem that everyone should enjoy. It’s an adventure from when you first hit the welcome centre (with a lovely little store and coffee shop) to leaving the centre at The end of your stay. We stayed in one of the high lake cabins (sandpiper). It is a hike to get to but they take your gear and you can enjoy the lovely scenery on the hike up. Anywhere from 35-60 minutes. Depending on ability. They are also accommodating if you need a Kubota ride with the gear. Even when our friends came for a visit we were able to arrange lifts because of a disability. I think it’s great that there’s a place you can stop in before or after hitting the Nordic trails that’s open all week, as opposed to the chalet at the downhill slopes which is only open on weekends. Enjoyed the coffee (from little sister) and there’s some snacks available as well. It’s a nice setting and was quiet when I visited. Next time I’ll stay longer for a glass of wine...

Fabulous little gem that was worth the drive from Falcon Lake. Serene and beautiful. Sat on the deck and the view was what one needed after a long day driving. Wonderful Barista that was cheerful and lovely to deal with. Definitely recommend! Definitely got drinks to go...
