FUSION DELIGHT — Restaurant in Unorganized West Timiskaming

My husband and I with our two teen daughters went for breakfast here while visiting a friend in Kirkland. We had previously gone to CJ's and were hoping it would be similar. While the server was friendly and the food was good the wait was almost a full hour for 6 people for breakfast. When we got our breakfast my husband didn't get the home fries he ordered (he got grilled instead of deep-fried) and had to alert the waitress. When I ordered I was sad to see there was no simple breakfast option (just eggs and toast) but that they had an add on menu and eggs were $1.25 each and toast $2. I asked upon ordering to have 2 eggs and 2 toast from the add on menu. The server asked if I would like meat or homefries and I reiterated I would just like it from the add on menu. Then when we went to pay we were charged $13 for a full breakfast which would include meat, drink, and homefries. When my husband asked about this they just shrugged and said 'Ya sorry'. Also just before leaving we saw an paper ad with multiple cheesecake flavors. My husband tried to order and they actually only had 2 available as opposed to the approx 10 on this page. This was a sad experience from a new restaurant. I will not return but I truly hope that they will do better for...

I have been a fan of this place since I was 12. On Winter days when I travelled to a place East of there we would work up an appetite and show up here after Spring Skiing to enjoy some great food. That was in the late 60s. A half century later I rediscovered this triumph to food and I was not at all disappointed. I am happy to say there are few places that can make a hamburger so good. Anybody who is feeling peckish needs to mosey on down HWY 66 east from Kirkland lake to King Kirkland to experience this place...

The food is honestly amazing! This is my 3rd Sunday in a row coming here. I keep wanting to take pictures but I keep eating all my food before I could think of it lol. The servers are super friendly! And honestly the atmosphere just feels very homey! Me and my husband love taking the little drive to eat here. Might be a new little tradition. I also find the prices extremely reasonable for the portion of food you get! 100/10! Love this...
