Tried this place recently for the first time on a recommendation from someone else. Firstly, the treats were quite incredible. Expensive, but the portion size was larger than average so likely comparable in price but definitely better in taste. I grew up in a Mennonite family and my mother was the best baker, minus the personal touch I would have to say this comes quite close to her territory. I'm sure she would have loved working there and likely would have cut into the profits with her sampling. I was surprised at the huge building and very little indoor seating space. I wonder what they will do in winter when all those customers drive down and need a space to sit. Also, not to be critical but Mennonites traditionally placed cleanliness next to godliness so I have to say I was disappointed to see the filthy tables outside and no garbage can in sight. There was also a bunch of spilled gross food under the tables. I'm hoping their incredible success is beyond expectations and that they use the profits to build a nice indoor sun room and make sure inside and outside is sparking clean! As for treats, way better than anything you will find in Saskatoon. Great to see a traditional business supporting rural...

Itβs a good job they are a 30 minute drive or we would be there regularly!
Worth the slight detour if you are getting gas in and out of Delisle, pop up the hill and check this place out but they sell out fast!!!
We went today around 11am today and there was a fantastic selection, there was a skor caramel, pecan, cream filled donut that has just blown me away it was heavenly πππ
Got my kids the oreos and my hubby has the boston creams, and a strawberry cronut to try , the picture speaks for itself! How delicious?!?!
Oh and we also got Sausage rolls which were the best too, better than The Bulk Cheese Warehouse and Churchills in my opinion
Check out the pictures of this place and you will be forced to head out and see what all the fuss is about
I think itβs the best new bakery opening in a long time and I wish the owners every success π
If the bar code scan menu from the business card could have options of the day on the donut choices I think that would be an excellent feature π maybe for orders made ahead of time to pick up for those...
Β Β Β Read moreOMG this bakery is enough of a reason to drive to &/or from Saskatoon via Highway 7! Just south of Saskatoon, near Delisle, you can't miss the big bold white B-A-K-E-R-Y letters on the black barn of this Mennonite-run bakery with the most delicious baked goods!! Apparently, there are sandwiches too and fresh baked bread (their sourdough is locally famous), but we just go for the treats - bringing pies all the way home to share w/ family & friends not lucky enough to be able to visit on their own to choose from a large selection of donuts, squares, cookies, etc.
This time we took a pecan Cinnabon to-go (which was my breakfast on the way home = absolutely delicious!!); various squares. an apple fritter (these are huge), and their newest dill-pickle donut (surprisingly really really good). As for their pies, we took an apple and mixed berry home, and I have to comment on their pie crust = absolutely, the most flaky and delicious crust we've ever tasted, and perfectly baked.
Thank you to all the lovely Mennonite ladies for their passion and creativity and absolute passion to make the most delicious treats for us weary...
