In the back of a quiet courtyard, there is this busy little place that looks like a fairy tale ginger house. If I were, some day for some reason, in a blue mood, I would go to Martha's Bakery and I would instantly feel better. I am sure of this. Martha welcomes everyone even before they enter. With a huge smile that tells you, already, that everything will be delicious. I tasted her savory scones with an expert in scones. We agreed, they are just perfect: everything you expect from an excellent scone plus something unique, that is delightfully surprising. Food is made from the heart: Martha's heart is warm, friendly, and generous. Her food is, too! Thank you!
