We dropped by for ice cream after the superb car show in downtown Richmond. Coaticook ice cream in pistachio and black cherry flavors for the two gents. Decent.
Cannot speak about the menu, but the old mansion (built in the 1880's) inside and out was remarkable for its age. There are nooks for eating in the what would have been the downstairs living areas.
There is an outdoor eating area, very clean bathrooms and a pastry shop where French pastries are available to go for your sweet tooth.
Service was excellent from a friendly staff member who spoke English without attitude. A few parking spots on site, but mostly free street parking. (BTW, the paintings on the walls are for sale.)

AND Today it was supposed to be special and I walked in the owner told me that she had no room and I said that I have reservations and she without asking my name said no you don’t!! I showed her my proof and she walked away, never apologizing. Food last time was much better, had to ask for more coffee, didn’t get any more water. The young man never tried to speak English and we asked him for coffee never came with it had to re ask the owner for coffee. I asked him about specials for the day and he leaned over to me in French and said that people usually get breakfast on Sunday with is untrue as other customers were eating lunch items....
