This was absolutely the worst Chinese food we have ever had. We spent four hours on the road today, were hungry and ready to eat almost anything … except this food. We ordered a dinner for 4 plus extra egg rolls 90% of it has been packed up, put back in the bags it came in, tossed in the trash and we are ordering from McDonalds. We aren’t picky eaters and we don’t throw out food, until today. The lemon chicken and sweet/sour pork were over battered, overly deep fried, and so hard some pieces couldn’t be pierced with a fork. The spring rolls were glistening with grease. The eggs rolls were greasy and had nothing in them that I would expect to find in an egg roll, just looked like a different brand of spring roll. The shrimp in the fried rice was mush and had no flavour, like it had been boiling for ages. The scallops did not have the texture or flavour of scallops and reminded us of flavoured pollock. The only salvageable food was the beef/vegetable, but after the horrible experience of all the other food, none of us could stomach eating it. I can’t believe we just threw $75 in the...
Read moreI really like Chinese cuisine, but when I ordered a meal from this restaurant I was very disappointed. I had stir-fry rice noodle with beef. It's hard to explain the dish when it had no taste. It was very greasy, no vegetables, and the noodles tasted like they were soaking in water for a week to ensure they have no taste. My husband had Shrimp Low Mein and I am not sure which one was worse. I believe that the shrimp were soaking with the noodles. But the big shock was the egg rolls. They seemed to be filled with a pudding of something that could be described as a blended mess of an unknown substance. And not the good kind. I wish people were more honest with their reviews to prevent such things from happening and maybe the businesses would pull up...
Read moreThis used to be one of my favourite restaurants to order from and i was so excited to pick up my lunch today but was so disappointed that it is not how it used to be. The shrimp fresh rolls were the most surprising because they were open ended, cut in have and completely fell apart when picked up and there was very little shrimp. The Singapore noodles were hard to eat as they were overcooked and there were so many clumps of spice not mixed throughout that it made the dish very bitter. The least disappointing were the spring rolls as the flavor was good but even they were different sizes. I never feel the need to write a review but for $31 of food that is so far from their standard it...
