Have been to Club19 many times and this was the worst experience. We called earlier to make sure we had time to eat after our round of golf before the restaurant closed and the girl told us they like to have orders in by 8:20pm before closing. Fair enough, so we made sure we were done golfing by then. As requested we were seated before 8:20. Were not approached by waitress until around 8:35, drinks (a pop and a water) took at least 10 mins to arrive to the table after that, and our order was taken around 845-850 which was obviously annoying as we rushed our golf game to get there to order in time as per the previous phone call. The appy was just ok (calamari), partner asked if he could add a 3rd piece of fish for fish and chips to which the waitress said “probably not but I’ll check” (of course the answer was yes in the end). The food was decent, never were asked for drink refills, asked another waitress for an extra tarter sauce when she delivered our food and she replies with “probably” and then walked away 🥴. Came back with the sauce, my partner said “thank you so much” and the girl just walked away saying nothing. Another waitress noticed we were done and cleared our plates. It honestly wasn’t even that busy and we had 3 different people coming and doing stuff for us that easily could’ve been our original waitress. Things have definitely changed since...
Read moreWe made a reservation for supper incase it was going to be busy.
It took about 10 minutes for us to get seated and the restaurant wasn't packed. We had to then ask for menus and finally our order was taken after waiting about 15 minutes. it took 35 minutes from ordering for our appetizer to arrive (spinach dip). It is very tasty but you get maybe a half cup of dip for 15$.
I needed to bring our empty drinks to the bar to ask for refills. And from ordering it took 50 minutes for our meals to be served (a kids grilled cheese and 3 burgers and fries)
My burger was quite burnt and over cooked and usually the gluten free buns are good but this one was dry. The buns on the other burgers were dry as well. The fries were overcooked and cold and had an off texture/taste. Couldn't find more than half a teaspoon of dressing on the Caesar salad.
Other people who were seated before us got served their food after us. I was shocked when another family came in at 8pm that the server greeted then with "I can't catch a break" I understand you could be busy and exhausted but that is definitely not a professional greeting for a restaurant.
Unfortunately we will definitely be choosing a different restaurant to go for meals from now on since Club 19 took on...
Read moreBeen there a few times. Food quality and service both have been consistently great. Beer at the patio on a sunny day located in the lap of pretty Kenosee is relaxing. I undestand you can’t expect items to be priced at what you would usually expect elsewhere for the atmosphere, quality and all. Now sometimes on the surface the pricing may seem same as everywhere else but when the dish gets served you realise they adjusted it with less than average quantity. The problem is when you are ordering you may think this is perfect for your appetite but when its infront of you its inafequate. I had that experience ordering their potstickers. The dumplings/momos were really tasty but quantity was far from filling. May be in the menu mention how many dumplings are served in a bamboo steamer. Even the dipping was added inside it that looks cute and compact when served but that can’t substitute the small dumpling itself. Overall, I will still recommend this place located by the Kenosee Golf Course, for all the...
