Busy saturday morning so after waiting in line for a bit, browsing the little gift shop, decided to grab a coffee at the shop while waiting. BTW, No credit cards for less than $5. Coffee was pretty good. Lots of cute and nice things in the shop.
We got a table a bit after. Our server was in a rush, came asking 3 times for our order. We took some time as it was at first time and wanted to review all the menu. She seemed a bit upset. Could not read her very well, maybe she was not having a good day. It was pretty busy but we like to enjoy our breakfast time so, for us it is not about eating but about the entire experience and I do not like to feel pressed! Sacred breakfast time! Our food came pretty fast. Ordered a side of fruit and was dissapointed. Not worth $4. My omelette was ok but too done. I do like it well done but this was too much. I had tomatoes instead of fries and 2 slices were from a very very ripe tomato. I would say it was ok after all but maybe not coming back to try again as it is a bit of a drive for us. Ordered: Western, 2...
Read moreThe food is consistently good. Nothing extraordinary. However, there are lots of options, including all-day breakfast. I have tried many of the menu items, and I have no complaints. Their specials are truly great deals. You don't leave hungry! Deserts are good as well. Service is good. Sometimes, there is a bit of a wait because it is a bit of a hot spot in town. The line usually goes quickly, though. They do close up early, at 2, so if you want to have a meal here, arrive before then.
A bit of a downside is the parking. There just isn't enough for busy days. There is a public parking lot across the street that fills fast, and the spots around the building also get taken up pretty well when the restaurant is busy. On many occasions when going for lunch with my older friend, we have had to walk half a block. It's not a problem for me... it can be frustrating, however its not really anything they can do, I...
Read moreFour of us went there for supper Friday night. We had their Friday night special which was barbecued ribs dinners. Three of us had the ribs with double baked potato with sour cream and butter the vegetable was turnip and the litter comes with a small coleslaw. I had the barbecue ribs what's the french fries turn up for the vegetable and the coleslaw. I started off with a garden salad with raspberry vinaigrette dressing. We all got a slice of homemade bread with her dinner and butter. The dinners we're outstanding the ribs for succulent tender fall off the bone so good the barbecue sauce is a sweet BBQ sauce not a smokey Mesquite. I do not like Smokey Mesquite BBQ I prefer a sweet BBQ sauce and they nailed it. The service was good the environment is friendly and the ambience is good. Highly recommended by myself to...
