Bentley's burgers and fries — Restaurant in West Chezzetcook

Disappointing service We went to Bentley’s Burgers today excited to try it out. We went to the window to order and decided on three cheese burgers with fries. The gentleman at the window said wait now are theses all the same? We said well no we want different toppings. He said (kinda condescendingly) ok then let’s start with #1 as he writes 1 and puts a circle around it in his order pad. Donnie says only ketchup for hers (our daughter) He said ok #2. Donnie tells what he wants on his (the bday boy) and then he asks for #3 (circles it on his pad) and I say what I would like. Then I blurt out oh and cheese! Donnie said I ordered all cheeseburgers so they all have cheese. We had a chuckle. We waited and chatted and then our order was called. He passed me three wrapped burgers. I said thank you and then said questioningly “the fries?” He said you didn’t order fries as he looks at his pad. I said yes we did but that’s ok how much more for the fries. Ok so I swear to god this is his response to his error. he said “well your going to have to wait a long time as all these other orders are before yours” Needless to say I stood there kinda shocked as he tells me I should have ordered them. Still stunned I took the burgers and started to walk away and I could still hear him repeat you had to order the fries. Another customer standing waiting for his order let us know that he heard us order the cheese burgers and fries. He was the next customer. We didn’t stay to eat. Very disappointed in that (non existent) customer service experience. So shortly after that we arrived home after discussing how I’m never going back just out of principal, my daughter comes out to tell me that only one burger had cheese - mine. Not a lot of places you can eat out here but this is a pretty good option especially in a hurry. The chicken sandwiches I've got could use a big more zing (Either spicing the chicken or more condiments just needs something more) but the standard beef burgers are really good.
