Fantastic little treasure of a place!
Try to time your visit to coincide with the gaps between the lahave ferry runs, as they get a heavy pulse of traffic everytime a ferry lands.
Everything on their menu is excellent, really!
If they have their water buffalo mozzarella available, be sure to get some! It's so fresh and mellow that regular store mozzarella tastes greasy and disappointing by comparison.
The 'all day breakfast sandwhich' is particularly good.
The homemade icecream and or sorbet is always excellent.
The staff are always in good moods and are super friendly.
The porch is dog friendly, which is great.

Read moreThe people who have an issue with this wonderfully preserved piece of the past can go straight to jail (their greyscale houses). It is SO pretty and valuable. Love the display in the window right now too, feels like a warm hug as a queer person.
I will say, I'm really friendly/polite and pretty much always have positive experiences, but service is hit or miss at the counter here.
