The Market at Quails' Gate — Restaurant in West Kelowna

We ate here on June 11, 2023 The location: Amazing. The food: Pretty good for the price The service: We had the most wonderful attentive and efficient server. Back-end operations: Did not have a good experience. During payment of the bill, there seemed to be an error on the machine the first time the card was swiped. It worked the second time. The next day I noticed a double charge on my Credit Card transaction feed for the outing. As per instructions from my bank, I called the restaurant and after a few transfers I was able to reach Accounts Payable. There was no one to pick up on the other end of the line. I left a voice message explaining the situation, left my name and phone number, hoping to get a call back. After two days, I called again and had the same experience. To date, the accounts department has yet to retrun my call. I have now instructed my bank to take action. So friends, be careful and aware to check your credit card transaction immediately after your outing here in case there might be an error and you can address it in-person at the restaurant. Beautiful little hidden coffee shop in quails gate winery. Stopped in for a quick peak after an amazing wine tasting experience. Such a great history site that offers so many great bakery options. Purchased a latte & croissant, both were perfectly made. What stood out the most was the staff, they were happy and engaging. Hidden Gem at Quails Gate is "The Market". The best Morning is made with a pop in for a beautifully crafted drink whether that be coffee or a special tea , and a glorious pastry. Always something new and delicious. Also a variety of market goodies to go, including bread and locally sourced artisan goodies.
