A Hidden Gem on the Road – Lavigne Tavern
We were out riding on our motorcycle and happened to stop in at Lavigne Tavern—and wow, what a great find! This place truly is a hidden gem.
The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and full of character—the kind of spot you instantly feel at home in. Whether you’re rolling in on two wheels or just passing through, it’s the perfect place to unwind.
And the food? Absolutely amazing. You can tell it’s made with care and quality ingredients. Every bite hit the spot after a long ride.
Highly recommend this place to anyone in the area—or even slightly off the beaten path. It’s well worth the detour. We’ll...
Read moreTo whoever visiting Sturgeon Falls, I highly recommend this pub in Lavigne, Ontario. They specialize in Ontario craft beer and serve great food to go with the beer. The owners of this pub are passionate about good craft brews, good music and good times. So what's not to like about this establishment. I hope to visit this...

They even have a gluten free option (cauliflower crust) and they actually know how to cook it well unlike most pizza places. They also give you plenty of cheese and toppings so you definitely get what you pay for! I usually spend around $18-24 for a gluten free pizza at most places and I’d say the price was comparable. Their GF pizza size here is bigger than most places too, which is nice! I would much rather get my food from here than any of the pizza places in...
