Lupin Dining & Pantry may be a little restaurant, but it offers a unique experience in big ways. I was fortunate enough to visit from Ontario and I have nothing less than exceptional reviews on my overall experience. The food was absolutely incredible! The menu is creative and features authentic seasonal options, even the kale caesar salad was like no other. The passion of the chef could be seen and definitely tasted in all the dishes we enjoyed. I love the vibe that has been created with this farm to table feel. I’d love to return for a visit when the gardens are in full bloom and to enjoy a garden seat to take in all of the hard work and passion that is that basis for this wonderful dining concept. Before leaving I purchased some items from the pantry to bring home to make gift baskets for friends and family, and of course saved some for myself as well. The servers were knowledgeable, fun and welcoming too! Overall, I very much enjoyed my visit and I...

Was so looking forward to trying this restaurant as I had heard and read such wonderful reviews but I have to say that I was extremely disappointed. After waiting well over an hour for our food to arrive (the food was very slow coming out of the kitchen and there were only 5 other people in the whole dining room at the time) my steak, which the waitress assured me would be extremely tender, was extremely small and was so tough that I could not chew it so I had nothing to eat other than a few mushrooms and a cauliflower puree that had a very weird flavor. When I told the waitress that my steak was tough she did not do anything to rectify the situation. When the bills arrived she told me that she had discounted the steak on our bill but upon review she has actually given me a discount of $3.75 on a $25 steak that went back to the kitchen. Very poor customer service!!! Not impressed at all with this restaurant....Needless to say, I will not...

We chose Lupin for our wedding reception after searching far and wide for something special. Having only moved to Nova Scotia after many years overseas, we have dined in some outstanding places around the world, and wanted a meal that would meet the occasion. I can honestly say, however, that Lupin is right up there with the best places I have eaten at.

Kim is a talented chef, and is creating something extraordinary with her garden to table, tasting menu concept. For our wedding menu, we opted to put our faith in Lupin, and we were not disappointed - every course was a delight. The setting, the ambience and the communication we received about our event were all exceptional, and every one of the staff were warm and welcoming.

We are so grateful for Kim and what she is doing. The future can only be bright! We feel lucky to have been able to spend part of our wedding day at Lupin, and will be back for a smaller...

Delicious and actually worth it. All of the food was beautifully cooked, intricate and balanced. Nothing felt heavy or over seasoned. I’ve gone to other tasting menus and find them lacking creativity and just not worth the price or the drive. I always have higher expectations with higher prices and so many places leave me disappointed. This one though? I’ll definitely have to come back. I was basically licking each plate clean. The only slight negative I had was that dinner takes 3 hours to serve. You better enjoy the company you’re with because 90% of the time you’re waiting. Make sure you’re not starving before you go. Luckily I was prepared Cocktails were good but it’s not a full bar so they were pretty simple. Their backyard farm is very cute, I’m jealous of their fire setup. Great atmosphere, lots of mosquito coils so you don’t have to worry about being eaten alive.

This little spot isn’t for just anyone. If you are looking for getting in, stuff your belly and get out, might as well go to McDonald’s. If you are looking for a place where you can experience fine dining, definitely go for it. But be mindful it’s a small family operated restaurant and waiting for good food it’s not a waste of time but an opportunity to have a real conversation with whomever you are sharing the experience while you have a drink. The Chef there is pretty talented and hard working. No way one can come with such good dishes without talent and hard work, so for those one star givers
get out more, enjoy life and be more mindful when it comes to your ego
 or just go to McDonald’s

This is one of those special little restaurants that delivers surprise after surprise. This is a farm to table establishment. The menu varies on the season. The Chefs Kim and Mark care about every single ingredient they lovingly prepare. I have had the pleasure of dining here a number of times...each time I am blown away by the ingenuity and the integrity this couple exhibit on each plate. I can see in a few years this little piece of heaven growing into a renowned destination dining establishment. It is sheer delight to see this kind of quality and care. There is vision at play here folks....appreciate and support them.
