Pizzaco — Restaurant in Whitby

Update: I initially gave Pizzaco 5* in my review, which was warranted. However, since then, my family ordered from Pizzaco twice and were disappointed. Both times the pizza crust was very thin and oily. Also, the pizza's looked like a medium instead of a large, which is what they ordered even though the pizzas were not great. What happened? Perhaps there are new persons making the pizzas? It's disappointing as my family and I thought we found 'the one' but it didn't last.

5* for this first review. The pizza was AMAZING! We enjoyed it so much! We ordered 3 pizzas ~ the pepperoni, bacon and mushrooms, grilled veggies and artichoke/black olives, which was my favourite. It was so good! We regretted not ordering a large. Next time! We got delivery and received the pizza within an hour! I was shocked, but pleasantly surprised. The pizza was hot and made with fresh ingredients. As I'm writing this, I wish that I could be eating their artichoke/black pizza for breakfast right now! lol. This is how much we enjoyed it however, everyone has different tastes so another person may have another favourite. I highly recommended Pizzaco to my family especially my siblings, as we all enjoy a good pizza. I have found my favourite pizza place and will not be buying from anywhere else! Even though there are pizza shops within 5-10 minutes of where I live, I will pay for delivery or pickup Pizzaco as it's oven cooked and tastes like the pizza I ate while traveling around Italy. Yum! 😋 Great job...

I waited a long time before writing a review for this place. Hoping things would change. Every time I’ve gone they’ve had issues with their pay machines, billing, the credit machine was down, etc. they knew and never did anything about it. I really wanted this to be my local pizza place. The pizza is decent, but the service is lacking.

Edit: It was 100% Pizzaco in Whitby on Thickson south of Rossland. I ordered the Big Mac pizza and a deluxe on one of your specials where you had pickup specials for new types of pizza you were trying out. I also ordered before from here other pizzas and had the same issue. When the machine didn’t work. I told you to your face, this has happened several times before (and only at pizzaco, no where else). This was my experience, it’s not made up, and...

Update: the owner reached out and has provided some compensation for what happened

I usually don’t write negative reviews… but I was very disappointed with my first and probably last visit to Pizzaco. We ordered about $45 worth of food 45 minutes before arrival via their online ordering system and upon arrival the employee mentioned that the order never printed out meaning that they hadn’t even started. When I asked how long it would take and what they would be able to do to compensate our additional waiting time - the employee mentioned it would take 10-12 mins and then proceeded to say that he didn’t know what could be done but assured me the owner would call back and surprise surprise we received no phone call.

Pizza was subpar and they even forgot all of the toppings on one...
