L and A Family Diner — Restaurant in Whitewood

We always stop here for the best ice cream in the area. We stopped in for a pizza last week and it was fabulous. However...we just picked up the same topping pizza to go and were disappointed at the difference between the two. The crust on this one was really thin and the toppings weren't near what they were on the "eat in" one. Best quesadilla I have ever had! It is my go to so I have had alot. We also had fish and chips, deep fried pickles and mushrooms. All great tasting, hot, made fresh and reasonably priced. They also had different daily specials. Service was excellent; fast, friendly, they checked to make sure everything was good and if you needed anything else. Definately would recommend. An eclectic diner with a great menu and very friendly staff. This is home cooking at its best. All the flavours are there and the portions are good.
