Sir Bob's Fish & Chips — Restaurant in Williams Lake

I have been a customer for many years, I have left this wonderful family business over hundreds of dollars in tips as I just loved their food so much I couldn’t see it go out of business until today December 13th 2022. Travel 2 hours in the winter for a grocery haul and shopped and starved for 2 more hours because during lunch it was full. So came back at 5 just to get left over fries (the new fries were at the bottom of the plate, so you could tell these were left overs that were re deep fried. I also received half cooked chicken strips(they were big pieces so the middle was still raw and rubbery!) when I made note to the blonde elderly waitress she cut the chicken up and said it was fine very rudely to me, no sorry, nothing at all but these comments show they like to use their excuses… I wish I got a better excuse to spend 50$ on a uncooked meal I couldn’t even bring along for take out for my 2 hour ride home like I ALWAYS have done and she than proceeded to charge me 50$ for two meals, that little blonde hair boy waitress was more reasonable, he was definitely...

We've eaten here a few times before with no problems until today (July 9th 2020). My Husband just lost his job and to try take our minds off of matters he decided to order a treat for us. When we got the food home you could see it was overly greasy so we refused to eat it & phoned them right away. First they said they got bogged down with orders so the fryer temp dropped and then they offered a redo but that they were still swamped. So we refused and asked to return it and get our money back, but they said they could only refund us half our money and then turned their story that it was our fault for being a little late from picking it up....we were MAYBE 15 minutes late?!.....and that SHOULDEN'T MATTER! So now we are out half our money on a splurge we technically couldn't afford and out of a meal. NEVER...

So tonight I wanted to take my disabled mother to All you can eat fish n chips. We got to the restaurant and we’re seated at a a table. My mum had just finally got settled into her chair at the table and the waitress came back over and said “sorry but the cook actually doesn’t want me to seat anyone else because he’s too busy…….” We were so disappointed. The restaurant closed at 7pm and we were there at 5:45. So my mum had to struggle back out of the chair and out of the restaurant. It’s really hard for her to sit and stand. Would have been helpful if they’d put a sign on the door instead of get us seated and then...
