Iceburg Drive-in — Restaurant in Winkler

Horrible. The fireburger was advertised on their sign today and I went in and I wanted two fire burgers without the sauce, and just mayo and cheese, with no fixens and a order of fries. The two burgers were 9$. I had no problems paying the 9$ for the two burgers, just didn't want them to put on the sauce and stuff that they normally did.

They said that they couldn't do anything about it and had to charge me for two original cheeseburgers with mayo and ketchup.

I asked the agent whom was working to just put the sauce on the side and then she stated that she would have to charge me for the xtra sauce on the burger because it had to be on the fireburger.

To repeat myself, I wanted two cheeseburgers with only mayo ketchup and I was willing to pay. It wasn't hard for them to make me two fireburger with nothing on it. They got paid for what was advertised.

They said that they were trained that way to do it. They couldn't allow changes to the burger.

Again, horrible customer service and I will not be going...

I don't know how people keep giving this place a 0-2 star. People write reviews based on one experience and that's it. If you actually give this place a chance and try different things on the menu you will not be dissapointed. The service is always quick, the food takes a little bit to make but who cares? The people that write bad reviews about this place, most of them have no idea about anything of the service industry and how it all works. They don't know how much work it is to prep the food and make like 8 orders at once so they complain about wait times not really out of the ordinary for people from Winkler though. Do yourself a favor and give this...

I asked for a spicy ghost pepper burger and I got what I asked for, furthermore when I walked into the restaurant I was treated like royalty, the owner himself served me my meal, the fries tasted like a cross between Dq and McDonald’s by far my favourite and the ghost pepper burger was actually not toned down it made my eyes sweat and it was so good it took me less then a minute to finish. I feel like this is a restaurant that delivers on its promise and I will be back everytime I want...
