Premium quality tasting food and beverage with lovely service!

Dining area was decorated with an unexpected variety of colors and patterns that actually worked very well together and was pleasing to the eyes.

Tea was delivered to our table in mismatched kettles and tea cups which was fun and stylish.

The menu had plenty of appealing options for a variety of diets including vegetarian. I chose a simple avocado with tomato on ciabatta; it was tasty. It came with a balsamic vinegatette and 1 slice of orange. I would've liked more orange slices or a small mixed fruit cup but that's not a complaint just a suggestion. With that said, the portion of ciabatta was quite filling enough for me regardless. The price was fair.

The Coffee House offered an amazing view of the ocean where whales sometimes visit in that location. It also includes an outdoor patio. They offer other services such as B&B and public shower service for fantastic prices which you cam find on their website. Wonderful services which could be taken advantage of by backpackers and hikers on the nearby East Coast Trail.

Will certainly go again and share with friends about this...

Beautiful and charming little coffee shop by the road side at sleepy Witless Bay, nestled atop a mount side with a breathless overview of the Bay, be it a splendid sunny day or solemnly foggy, enjoying a traditional Newfoundland Tetley tea accompanied by a delicious blueberry crumble or an unctuous cod au gratin you're in for a treat.

The layout exudes that uncompromising attention to detail with 1950's inspired dinner tables and chairs, unassuming yet tasteful decor, that true atmosphere that permeates every Newfoundland home that I've had the privilege to visit, friendly and expeditious smile.

The mutual community support shared by every town and city that I've visited on the island, that concern for their fellow human being permeates the Irish Loop Coffee House, where you'll be able to find a wall where they support local craftsmen and women through their continuous presence as a pillar of the community as a tourist attraction.

We'll be returning to grab another bite and some wonderful tea. Thank you guys! As new members of the community we couldn't have felt more...

ADORABLE! My husband and I stopped here for a quick coffee/tea on our journey around the Irish Loop road while on vacation from the US. It sits way up high on a cliff with gorgeous views of Witless Bay (I believe?) The place is super clean and bright and sunny, filled with fun retro 1950's dinette sets and a zillion brightly colored tea pots. Our server was SO fun and chatty and helpful. That day we only got coffee and tea and each got a baked good (BEST lemon bar I've ever had!). We loved it so much we drove back for breakfast another morning of our trip. SO many yummy offerings with a full wall-height chalkboard of specials. I got the eggs benny with home fries. It was spectacular. Perfect hollandaise sauce, eggs poached perfectly. Husband had some potato breakfast casserole that he loved. Again, our server was a delight! Would make this a weekly stop if we lived anywhere close by. You must...

The "Fork." evening restaurant is just fantastic. Beautiful, relaxing setting in Witless Bay; a surprising setting for upscale dining. Fresh local flavours presented in delicious and unique ways. Service was of course delightful and attentive, and the cocktails were also great. My only real nitpick is that the odd addition of popcorn to the scallop seviche was a bit tacky and unnecessary, but otherwise all of the food was just delicious and quite skillfully prepared. Portion sizes were just right (not for people who like large portions), and the menu was pleasantly small, with some really creative dishes that I actually haven't seen many or any other places in NL. Seems the chefs are really trying to be creative with some very common local ingredients. Overall, this is absolutely a place I would recommend to anyone for a nice upscale dinner, in a downhome setting. Not cheap, but worth it.
