A huge disappointment, overpriced and lack of supplies. I wanted a chicken burger they are out of chicken, they were out of alot of things. You'd think they would havevhad the foresight to order more food supplies for the long weekend. NOT. So I order an Aurora Salad, suppose to have blueberries, puffed rice, sunflower seeds I got the $23 salad with no blueberries, no puffed rice, no sunflower seeds, very little dressing a drizzle of salad dressing which wasn't my first choice because they were out of it. So the person behind me was ready to order and he asked what do you have? TOURISTS Don't bother stopping there to order food go down the road further at a gas station and eat at the local restaurant. I won't ever eat at the Bistro again and I"M NOT A TOURIST. Food not great...

This place really is a gem, offering a warm, rustic atmosphere, log cabin style on a bigger scale. The menu is packed with delicious options, from the mouthwatering Alaskan halibut fish and chips to the incredible Aurora Salad—both of which were bursting with fresh, local flavors. My hubby enjoyed his burger, I loved the sweet potato fries. What really stood out, though, was their selection of tasty Alaskan beers on tap, featuring crisp and refreshing Yukon Gold, I enjoyed a lovely brow ale. The wait-staff were very friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming vibe. The outdoor seating area was a great spot to soak in the quirky vibe with the SS Tutshi just over the tracks. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, The Bistro is a must-visit for great food, fantastic beer....

In the same place as this lovely totem pole, there is a restaurant that will surprise you for such a small place in the Yukon, The Bistro! We ordered the fresh greens salad with the strawberry-lime dressing. It was definitely one of the best salads we’ve ever had. We also ordered the spicy bbq grilled chicken sandwich with onion rings. Words fail to explain how absolutely delicious our food was. The vegetables were totally fresh and in the middle of the Canadian wilds! You must have the Apple Cheesecake for dessert. The taste was exquisite. The crust was perfect and the side dollop of real whipped cream was the perfect accompaniment to the main dessert. We could not be more thrilled with...

The place has potential but the menu definitely needs a makeover. I ordered the 2 piece cod fish and chips for $32... Being so close to the Ocean I had a feeling I would get a hefty meal - nothing could be further from the truth... A small cup of coleslaw and tartar... The amount of coleslaw could fit on one fork bite. The fish was ok, nothing impressive. The meal is definitely not worth the money. Perhaps $20 but not 32... On the flip side, the area is nice, the decor and ambience as well.
