This place is located right on the beach which is it’s biggest selling point ! Beautiful views of the sea and mostly deserted beach, you can walk to the lighthouse. Waitresses are friendly enough, and speak limited English. Service African style - expect an hour or so wait for your meal.
The food was very mediocre - I had octopus stew which was incredibly salty, my husband ordered what we thought was calamari spaghetti but ended up getting shrimp. Spaghetti was lukewarm on arrival and lacked flavour. After googling it seems like the words in Portuguese for squid and shrimp are similar. I wish I’d taken a photo of the board but 99% sure it said calamari and we asked the waitress on ordering when I said squid she seemed to indicate that was correct. Perhaps something was lost in translation.

Read moreWe stayed in Sao Pedro Bay and this was our local restaurant. Staff always friendly and attentive. Breakfast- brunch option- is delicious! But so were the tapas and main meals. I recommend the prawns as tapas and the stewed conch for main.
