Bo Beach Bar — Restaurant in Sal

One of two beach bars at Ponta Preta. Cosy venue, close to the beach and sunbeds free of use for customers. friendly staff. They had live music from 16:00 the day we were there. We didn’t get any information about happy hour (from 3pm to 4pm), so that was a bit disappointing. Prices are a bit higher than in Santa Maria, especially on drinks. The menu is nice, we ate a Bruschetta and a “Vegan poke bowl”. Good bruschetta, disappointing poke bowl. Almost only apples and beetroot, very little quinoa. Not a filling dish for the price of 6,5 €. Needed...

The food is good but nothing more than that. We tried the wraps, the pizzas, the burgers, the fries, the toasts, everything tastes nice but it’s not the best ever.

However, the beach is the best ever of the whole island of Sal. The spot is very nice, live music, sand is white and clean, the water is azure blue, not a lot of people, the sunset is very nice and there are some nice kitesurf spots. The service is amazing.

We went there nearly everyday, the chairs and transat are for free too.

Beach is normally free. The hotel that owns it, I don’t think it is very popular for all inclusive as many tourists opt for, specially English and Portuguese.
