Since they refurbished, their service has been horrible. They have the daily menu on the glass but you still have to sort your way through a white board on the floor to make an order. The white board is not organized and the meats are located under the heading ‘sides’. The staff had a bad attitude and there is no way my food should be shared like pig slop. The rice and the meat was placed In one side of the plate and two tough plantains tossed on the side. The plate of Oxtail was $14 with no choice of small or large. It was poorly prepared with a bunch of fat on the meat. For $14 you would at least expect the food to be presentable. I got back to work and started eating my food and felt for a drink… sadly I found that my drink was expired since September 6th. Rankin’s is now lacking on customer service, presentation and preparation of the food. Please fix this cause rankin’s used to be really good.

Not bad, not bad at all, perfect location stop for a bite if you're in Bodden Town, or travelling from Georgetown to the East End and points north. Great selection of jerk foods to choose from as well as iconic Carribean sides. Service is friendly, and the drink menu is varied, but no alcoholic beverages if that is what you're looking for, so don't say I didnt tell you. Seating is patio, and picnic table setup with umbrellas, so yes you can find your way to shade. We only stopped for a snack, wings and drinks, but if you're looking for a place providing Carribean vibes and cuisine, while being able to eat local, this is your place. Lastly, don't be in a rush, everything is made to order, and your on island time.

5 trips to the Caymans and this is still our favorite place for take out. The jerk chicken, rice and beans, with Festival (sweet fry bread) is delicious. The chicken portion is generous, about half a chicken, so we split or order two and and eat the other half for leftovers. Best value on the island. Ring the white door bell over the window on the left to get someone to come take your order. Service is quick and friendly. Seating is picnic tables in the sun or a few covered. They have a daily menu that changes and limited the hours for a special BBQ memu on Saturday afternoon. Closed Sunday.

We ordered two small jerk chicken meals along with fries. Apparently, by 7:00 pm, all of the fries are already gone, so we substituted them for festivals. We both requested dark meat, and were told that wasn’t a problem. We got home, and one meal had mostly dark meat and the other was all white meat. Both were well past their prime with the white meat being dry and crumbly and totally inedible. Since we’ve never had festivals before, we can’t say for sure if they’re supposed to be almost as hard as a rock or not. I’m sure if they were fresh, they would have been good. The jerk seasoning was pretty good once you removed the burnt parts from the dark meat. Overall, more food went into the garbage than we ate. Definitely a waste of...
