Tired and jet lagged, my family member and I just arriving in the Grand Cayman Islands decided on take out rather than dining in. As we looked through numerous restaurants, my family member decided on Italian food. I forewarned her, Italian food in the Islands is high risk😂 She decided this restaurant was the closest. We place and order for eggplant and angel hair spaghetti (no other choices) and something else. I asked was the eggplant 🍆 fresh, with an affirmative that it was. After 15 minutes my family walked across the road from our hotel to pickup our delicious meal 🤨. My family member returned in shock😱 It cost us almost $80.00 US for 2 items. Okay, we had to accept it as a learning experience an began to eat our expensive meal. I put my fork through the mushed spaghetti, and realized the eggplant was rubberized. My family members food was enedible as well. I returned twice to the restaurant with the food with no results. The worst food...

We visited twice during our Cayman’s stay. Located right across the street from our resort, it is incredibly convenient. We all tried one another’s meals and they were all fabulous. The alfredo, chicken parm and bruchetta were some of my very favs - wouldnt miss any of them. The second visit we had pizza - divine! Crispy thin crust, yummy cheese, great toppings. Had a caesar salad to go with and the parm is superb! One of us had the chocolate raspberry martini for dessert - mercy. Truly we havent had a bad meal since we arrived but the Italian Kitchen beckoned us TWICE in a week. It’s very good, casual, and easy for a beach week. Heissy was an added bonus - sweet, efficient and personable. The chef even told me what tomatoes he used in his sauce - yall, THE SAUCE. Focacia good too. If you’re coming to the east end...

Customer service was great. We had a large group (10) we called and they allowed us to make a reservation. Our server was Angie and she did a great job taking care of our whole group, even chatting up the 5 & 7 year old that were with us. The garlic knots are amazing. Everyone enjoyed their meals, gluten free pasta was a hit with my sister who is GF. Some reviews we read were negative, but we don’t have a negative thing to say about this place. Go, eat, be happy.

Something to remember, Cayman time or Island time is a real thing. Things on the island aren’t fast paced, go, go, go, like other areas of the world. (The food did come out pretty...

Surprising find in a quiet part of East end. Nice little italian restaurant. First, service was outstanding and quick, our cuban server ( sorry, i forgot her name) was very nice and sweet. Food was simply delicious. We got apetizers of coconut shrimps and fried artichokes, and 4 different plates of pesto shrimps, risotto, parmesan chicken and fettuccine Alfredo. All very tasty and well seasoned. The chcken was a bit hard, but that's how chicken is in Cayman. We finished with lime pie and lava cake. Only drawback was that it was a bit noisy, but nothing the restaurant can do when guests are noisy. Highly recommended and a nice surprise!

I read so many mixed reviews but still decided to check this place out. And I found the reviews to be true … food was fantastic. We ordered the Hawaiian pizza and the shrimp pesto pizza. For dessert we had the sticky toffee pudding and the tiramisu. Loved the thin crust on the pizza. And the warm sauce for the pudding was heavenly. The unfortunate part of the experience was the service. The reviews were correct in saying the food took a long time to come AND the server was quite rude. So even though the food was delicious, I only gave a 3 star due to the bad service, it really left a bad taste in my mouth.

We decided to give this spot a try one of the days that we wanted to eat "off resort" but didn't want to make a long drive after a busy day of snorkeling and diving. We're glad we tried The Italian Kitchen! The pizza was tasty (although nothing extraordinary) and the garlic knots were top notch. We love that they proudly admit to putting garlic on everything, because we too love garlic! The prices were reasonable and the staff were very nice. We ended up with enough pizza that we took home leftovers to enjoy the next day.
