Absolutely exceptional experience✨ I have never had such a magical and fulfilling birthday dinner like the one I had here. I am not one to write reviews but I couldn’t help give the place the credit it deserves! Upon arrival, I asked to be seated away from the crowd as I was traveling solo and wanted a little peace & I was accommodated right away. Every single staff member went out of their way to make me feel special/welcome and comfortable. There is a large wine selection to choose from and the bartender makes exceptional cocktails! Even the mocktail served high class :) I had the special for that night and I took over an hour to finish because I truly wanted to savor every single bite. The menu is well thought out and flavored exceptionally well! I’m a foodie so this is big for me :) After dinner I was suprised by the entire staff as they came to sing me Happy Birthday 💜 I have never felt so seen and blessed by the kindness of strangers like this. Even the Parrots joined in to make my experience that much worthwhile.

This is a popular hidden gem of the Westbay area located just down the road from Hell. The restaurant has a welcoming, romantic ambiance while still feeling casual and put together. You can decide to sit inside or on the fully screened in outdoor patio next to the mangrove swamp which it sits upon. If you appreciate exotic birds this is a must. The owner has 6 birds on the property (3 scarlet macaws, 2 blue macaws and an African grey). You are able to visit with all the birds before or after dinner and are able to view them as you eat in the smaller dining room to the right.

Highlights: great ambiance romantic location ability to get up close to the parrots service was timely owner was friendly and excited to talk about his birds carpaccio octopus

Lowlights: the lamb chops were over cooked the scallops lacked flavor

Tips: If you are traveling by car rather than taxi, make sure you have gps or know the route beforehand as this is not the easiest place to find on the first try. Its about a 10-15 minute driver by car from Seven Mile Beach but can be much longer if you get turned around. This restaurant is close to Hell and would make a good dinner destination...

Charming Italian restaurant in a unique lagoon setting. Wonderful, attentive service--it's clear the staff and owners care about their customers a great deal.

Food was excellent, although it seems the classic Italian dishes are stronger than the local / Caribbean-influenced ones. My duck ravioli starter was insanely delicious, with al dente pasta filled with a generous portion of duck and slathered in a rich, creamy sauce--everything that I wanted and expected based on the menu description. I had a fish special as a main course, and the snapper itself was excellent (although a tad over-cooked), as was the red wine sauce it came with. The accompanying vegetables were the biggest disappointments. A bit of bland [roasted fennel] and a very sad baby eggplant + eggplant pairing, which brought out the worst of that particular vegetable (mushy/watery center with no flavor and a tough/unpleasant skin).

Overall a great experience and largely excellent food. I've had closer-to-perfect meals elsewhere on the island, but competition is tough given the incredible collection of restaurants available on...
