I recently visited Jin Ding Xuan at their Asian Games Village branch, and overall, it was a solid experience. The restaurant has a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout my meal. The service was definitely a highlight—our waiter was prompt in taking our order and checking in on us regularly without being intrusive.
As for the food, the variety of dishes on the menu was impressive, offering a good mix of traditional Chinese options. The dim sum, in particular, was quite good—fresh and flavorful, with a nice variety of fillings. The crispy duck and sautéed vegetables also stood out for their great taste and presentation.
However, there were a couple of minor downsides that kept me from giving a higher rating. While the service was excellent, some of the dishes felt a bit inconsistent in terms of flavor, with a few being too salty or not as fresh as I would have hoped. The ambiance could use a little more polish as well, as it felt a bit dated in certain areas.
Overall, Jin Ding Xuan is a good option if you're in the area and craving some quality Chinese food with attentive service. While not perfect, it's definitely worth a visit and I would come back to try other items...
