Lusen — Restaurant in Fuzhou City

The best café at ShangXiaHang tourist zone by the small river bank just 100m from a few minutes' walk from entrance arch. It is more than a café -- rather, a nice bookshop (no English books through) spreads over 2 floors and 3 shop lots. Very atmospheric and relaxing.

You can sit downstair or up stair in the midst of walls and rows of books. Or, the best is at the balcony overlooking the river and surrounding area. There are a few nice paintings of the old buildings of ShangXiaFang.

They do offer single origin coffee! The sole barista (while I was there) gave good suggestions. For the hungry souls, there are cakes, spaghetti and so on. As to be expected located in such a location, it is a bit pricey. There might be a...
