PizzaExpress (Siu Sai Wan) — Restaurant in Hong Kong Island

The shop is mostly empty because it’s not good. We have been here a few times. Pizza is mediocre, service too.

Recent pizza takeaway tasted bad and oversalted. I forgot which pizza it was, sadly. Staff put it into a crumpled Deliveroo bag though the order was in person.

Every day the staff is new and confused about tea set. One day it is until 3pm, another day until 6pm, another day until 5:45pm. One day at 5:55pm staff said it’s available until 6pm, but denied the order anyway.

If you come even 40 minutes before closing time staff will deny the order, you can beg the staff and if you make a big order with 3 pizzas maybe...

I just visited. But… sat at the table for about 15 minutes. Not only did no one come to take my order, but there was nobody in sight that I could even call. I would have had to start walking around the restaurant to find an employee. So instead I left. Frankly never seen this dismal service at a Pizza Express. Extremely...

Visited on Christmas Eve, one guy works in the kitchen guy got “sick” leave suddenly, causing the whole restaurant mess. Everything was delayed but we don’t blame the restaurant.
