Seafood takes center-stage here, though there are also plenty of meat options. Was told that the restaurant doesn’t have a menus instead staff will walk you down a walkway that’s lined with numerous glass tanks housing different seafood, meats, and vegetables, and after you pick your ingredients, you also choose how you like your meal cooked.
We had a ‘live’ Turbot fish, steamed then bathed in a light soy sauce (akin to Cantonese style, I guess) as well as a ‘live’ female mud crab, not very large but still quite full of orangey roe, and both were quite up to expectations given they were both ‘live.. yummy..
The green vegetable, unfortunately, wasn’t great as we found it too stringy and tough, quite difficult to bite through, but to be fair we don’t know if it was the characteristic of this veg or if this batch wasn’t great.
Bottom line, yummy food...
