Liuhuan is located inside the beautiful ancient town and it follows the aesthetic of the location. You can order individual dishes or get a taste of a variety of food which is what I did. The food I purchased was beautifully presented in a large woven basket which I loved. However I was let down by the food because it didnt quite match my experience in this lively town. They had "fries" which I don't think they know how to make. The flavour was amazing but the texture was not of a french fry. It was like biting into a hard potato inside. The skewers were really tasty but portions are bite sized. They had noodles which are covered in tofu which didn't taste fresh and was really bland. Hardly and flavor or seasoning on there. They had a cold clear jellylike sweet soup which was alright. I don't love it but I don't hate it. It's very unique and it's sweeten by flowers which is the purple thing in the middle of the dish. They call it "rose papaya water" which is a translation from the name in Chinese. The tofu pudding is also alright but I've had some of those powdered instant one's that taste better than what they made. The flat rice noodle was also pretty good but that's about it. They also don't have any actual napkins and use toilet paper as napkins. The entire food experience was lacking but the atmosphere was one of my only good experience...
