Good old fashioned American Style Burgers😋

It was WORTH walking from Admiralty to Wellington street- because the BURGERS (Hoola Gal and Bayou Delights) were great 👍🏻 , the FRIES (Chilli Cheese) were great 👍🏻 , and a nice setup too 👍🏻- with some funny posters/signs on the walls.

The Hoola Gal Burger 🍔 is certainly a MUST-HAVE!😋😋The BEEF patty was done a very nice Medium. The BACON was slightly crispy and went great with the juicy sweet PINEAPPLE slice.😍 I wonder —- many centuries ago, whichever guy decided ....to combine beef/bacon with Pineapple (in Burgers and Pizzas)...... that guy was a genius!!😜

The BAYOU DELIGHTS FISH BURGER was an EXCELLENT runner-up to the Hoola Gal burger. Crunchy CATFISH FILLET and the SHRIMP went great with the Tartare sauce and the Jalapeño.😅😋 The layer of Coleslaw provided the balance against the spicy Jalapeño.... loved it 😍

The CHILLI CHEESE FRIES had a generous portion and I always recommend them over regular fries for the combo.👌🏻

After hogging all the Burger and Fries, I was surprised that I could still take down that large Vanilla Shake!!☺️ Shake’em Buns is definitely one of the better and preferred burger joints in the area. Without doubt, I’ll be tryin’ their other burgers...

Ordered the mushroom burger with fries and drink for 140HKD. Two guys working at the time and one cooking my burger. He was sick or had allergies because he was sneezing and coughing around the kitchen and into his hands a lot. I watched to see if he would wash them but he didn't. I had to stop him and ask him to wash his hands, which he then did. Burger and fries were great, but sanitation...

Love this burger joint, the bread is always soft and the pattys are amazing, the wings are also great and so is the poutine. Only complaint is the consistency, which is forgivable since its not a mass produced burger and its will be the same chefs everytime you go. A lot of people complain about the size, yes it's small but it's part of appeal, it's a burger shack not...
