Truly the best egg tart I have ever tasted. Lillian Bakery is famous all over Shanghai for their Portuguese egg tarts, and they don’t disappoint. To get a taste of everything I ordered all three flavors: original egg tart, durian egg tart, and cheese egg tart. Boy, oh boy, they don’t disappoint. The creamy juiciness of these egg tarts cannot be described, they are perfectly mold together within their pastry cups. The crispy golden brown multi layered cups that complete the whole bite with cracking sound will leave you wanting more. If you ever in Shanghai, find one out of their fifty plus locations around Shanghai, they are usually closed by from the Metro station or even inside one. Enjoy while they’re hot or cool them down in the fridge.

#에그타르트 로 유명한 #릴리안베이커리. #LilianBakery 는 원래 #마카오 가 본점이고, 상하이에는 2001년 입성하여 현재 상하이 내에만 50개가 넘는 브랜치를 갖고 있다고. 흠... 더구나 1800년대 #포루투갈 리스본 오리지널 레시피 그대로 만든다고 하니 역사와 전통을 자랑할 만 하구나. 에그타르트 낱개 구입은 안되며, 최소 4개 한세트부터 구입가능. 녹아내리는 맛 최고👍
