A hotel I've stayed at 3 times already in the past year. The hotel probably used to be very nice. You can tell it was catered for those on short term assignments at one of the companies in the chemical park (the lobby has a wall covered with the company logos!), therefore if you have any business in the area and don't want to commute 1hr each way everyday, this is the place. Place has 3 restaurants, a gym and a golf course. No wireless Internet in the room or in public areas, it's all wired and its not included in your room rate. Breakfast is ok and the top restaurant (chinese) is ok as well. Staff is friendly. ||||Downside of my most recent stay, my floor had no water!! There was a note stating the water would be back on, but it was obviously delayed, so I woke up to no water, had to call reception, and they offered me another room, just to take a shower. Water worked in the new room, but questionable cleanliness... ||Another note, the hotel takes a deposit on your credit card like most hotels, however they won't provide you with a void receipt when you check-out. Deposit is refunded but I have to say I was not comfortable leaving the place not knowing what they exactly with the 8000RMB they charged as deposit for 2 rooms....||||Conclusion: ok stay, but be warned that even though you won't need to commute, you'll have so much free time to kill with nothing... Charge up your iPad with movies...
Read moreI am writing this from room 803 of the Ramada Sino Bay, the air conditioning unit does not work so I have to keep the patio door open (thank god they open) that makes it loud and smelly in the room. Not sure what you would do in the hot season, it is relatively cool right now. The bed is extra firm, the towels are thin, there is only a tube of liquid soap bolted to the wall in the shower so when you need to wash your hands you have to reach in the shower to get soap. The shower has black mold growing in the corners at the bottom. The coffee is instant, there is a refrigerator in the room but no drinks in it, even though there is a card giving you prices for the non-existant drinks. The towels are thin. The water in the shower inexplicably cycles hot and cold and you can never get a steady water temperature. The staff are quite nice but they speak no, or very little english. Breakfast is limited but decent, not many western choices but the eggs, noodles, dumplings, breads and vegetables are mostly good. We stayed here because we have meetings for 3 days in SCIP, otherwise this is not a good choice. And it may be worth a long drive to stay elsewhere. It would be great if they updated this hotel because the location is perfect when you have...
Read moreTraveled here for business for one night. Room facility is very old, the towel is getting to yellow. And the shower water is very small without ant pressure I think.||||What the most I want to share is the breakfast. Actually the food standard is below average, the juice is not fresh juice and can't find normal bacon. And the F&B service is very bad, if you are used to stay in an international brand property, you are not smart to stay here. The staffs are chatting very loudly, even the supervisor and the chef. I asked a sunny-side-up, but the chef didn't say ok or not, I asked again, he even replied me with silence. I said if you heard me, please say yes at least. After he cooked the sunny-side-up for me, there is no plate there, he asked me to go somewhere to get a plate. I bought some plates for him and told him if guests need you can use them. He laughed and said I don't need them, guests will bring by themselves.||||I know this hotel is managed by Wyndham, It makes me think if I will stay Wyndham brand...
