Every day, around five people occupy nearly half of the outdoor seating area, yet they always bring drinks from Luckin Coffee instead of Starbucks. As someone who purchases from this store daily, I often can’t find a seat to sit down and enjoy the coffee I actually paid for.
I’ve brought this up with the store manager many times, asking if the seats could be prioritized for paying Starbucks customers. However, not only was the issue not resolved today, but I was also maliciously harassed by the same group who regularly occupies the seats. They said to me, “Get out of China, we don’t welcome foreigners.” I was deeply shocked by such blatantly discriminatory language, and the store manager did nothing in response.
What’s even more disappointing is that I previously contacted Starbucks customer service about another issue but never received a response. This disregard for feedback from loyal customers makes me question whether I should continue supporting this brand.
To be honest, Luckin and Manner offer cheaper coffee, and yet many people still sit in Starbucks for long periods without buying anything. Why is it that real Starbucks customers are unable to properly enjoy the store’s services?
