Do Northeast China dumplings live up to the hype? This is my first time sampling the famed dish. To tell the truth, I had my doubts. I mean, dumplings are already pretty good, so how much better could they be? I tell you what - they can be INCREDIBLE! These dumplings are NEXT LEVEL! They have such an incredibly complex flavor, unbelievable umami, and perfect execution. Now I need to try more Northeast dumplings to see if they all deserve the moniker. Meanwhile, I'm happy to admit I was wrong to doubt the Dongbei...
