Wong Shek Pier is a small pier by itself. If you drive, you have to park your car in a nearby public park(free, but is always packed during weekend) and take route #94 bus to get there. You can BBQ or go to other islands by boat. Remember to bring your food and water as you won't find too many shops there. I consider it a relaxing and quiet place if you want to shun hustling Hong Kong city life.

A nice place to visit, it have a bus station just beside the official BBQ area & camp site with washroom together with clean water supply. At the same time it have a water sport / activities center can provide training for kayaking and sailing etc. Also there is a public pier there for easy transport to nearby small island or campsite in the area.

Wong Shek is a great place to spend a day or two outdoor. It has everything you need, camp site, barbecue site and hiking trail. If you love water sport, there is a water sport centre too. Access to Wong Shek is easy, a 40-min bus trip from Sai Kung brings you there.
