beautiful view of the Bell Tower, but mediocre dumplings. many of the dumplings looked pretty, but they had thick skins & flavorless fillings. We ordered the "Dumpling Fest", no bargain at Y168 each, and by the end we just wished it was over.... You can do much better eating any of the street food nearby! PS no English spoken and no English menus. For a touristy spot, they could do better.

식당외관을 밤에 보니 수많은 홍등을 건물 베란다에 일정하게 걸어놓아 중국풍을 물씬 풍기게 하고 식당 내부에 들어서니 1층은 특산물과 이 식당의 자랑거리 음식을 판매하는 곳으로 추측되며 2층에는 원탁테이블이 배열되어 있는데 실내가 넓어 확 트인 느낌을 줍니다. 배정된 자리에 앉으니 미리 준비된 솥에서는 만두탕이 끓고 조금 지나니 각종 채소류 볶음반찬이 진열됩니다. 어느 정도 지나니 만두가 나오기 시작합니다. 종업원이 어둔한 한국말로 만두종류를 알려주는데 귀담이 듣지 않으면 무슨 말인지 모를 정도 입니다. 그렇게 두 셋 씩 나오는 만두를 조심스럽게 맛을 봅니다. 한마디로 만두의 향연입니다. 돼지고기만두, 오리고기만두, 말고기만두, 양고기만두, 토마토만두, 호도만두 등 등 등. 총 14가지 만두가 나오는데 만두 1씩 먹어도 배가 터질 듯 합니다. 먹어도 먹어도 줄지어 나오는 만두 가짓수가 너무 많아 사진을 다 찍지 못하고 찍은 사진 중 만두 사진만 올립니다. 가이드 설명에 의하면 이 식당은 80여년의 전통이 있는 식당이라고 합니다. 섬서성 서안은 내륙분지에 위치해 있어 밀가루 음식이 발달했는데 밀가루 음식 중 특히 국수류와 만두가 발달했다고 합니다.

Not worth your trouble. Dimplong looks nice and nice presentation but that's the best I can say. Dumpling skin is thick and starchy, with measly filling within. Dumplings also came in cold and hard.

Amazing experience and very convenient price. We enjoyed in a private room a great dinner with dozens of different dumplings, even the hot pot dumpling soup with an explanation in English of this dish and its meaning.

The minimum charge per person in private room was aroun 180 rmb per person, including refreshment and local beers.

Meh…… has a beautiful view. They seemed to be out of the major dumplings (at 6pm on a Friday night), server seemed to take ageeesss to come over to be despite it being half empty. Dumplings were decent albeit...
