Well this is the only indian restaurant in Xiamen and a safe haven for vegetarians.
The food here is good to taste and you get to listen to bollywood music which is refreshing in China, and doesnt make you miss home.
Although their facebook menu shows a lot more variety, they have reduced the number of dishes on the menu which were not so much in demand, and currently they have only north indian dishes and no south indian dishes. Plus they dont have Dum Alu also, which leaves only paneer, daal and chana masala
They also have mixed veg, and bhindi masala and baingan bharta.
We used to order Paneer makhni, which is better than paneer butter masala and channa masala. Their garlic naan is very tasty and also tandoori paratha.
Although it is slightly expensive, one meal with 2 curries and 2 breads will cost around 200 RMB but if you have a heavy breakfast and only dinner then it is not too expensive, although some items like masala papad and roasted papad are over priced at 28 RMB

On my last visit, I noticed renovations underway, but I was happy to find the restaurant still open. Can’t wait to see the finished results. This spot is truly a don’t-miss stop...
