The curries here are better than they have any right to be, and the naan bread is the best we have ever had. We couldn't believe just how good it was.
The atmosphere when walking in isn't the best. Sometimes there's a slightly off smell in the room, and the tall waiter moves quickly but always seemed to have his mind somewhere else, which wasn't too assuring the first time around.
When the food arrived, however, all worries evaporated. The portions are big, and the price (around 60 HKD) for a curry with a large serving of naan bread that gets two slim people / small eaters full is really affordable (at least from the perspective of Europe / North America, where you'd pay twice as much for something like this, if you could even find it in this quality, which is rare).
The chicken curries were especially good as the chicken meat was soft and juicy, but still fully cooked, and also generous in quantity. The vegetables included were fresh, well- but not overcooked and ample.
We also ate at a different Indian restaurant in a more central location. The hosts who had ordered it told us that it was their favorite Indian restaurant in Hong Kong, but both of us felt that it wasn't even half as tasty as Tasty House.
If you are traveling or staying even somewhat close from here, definitely give this restaurant a try. I stayed in Hong Kong for 3 months, usually eating out once a day, and this was definitely my favorite restaurant of my entire stay when it comes...
Read moreNot bad at all, but won't call it the best Pakistan food, we came on weekend and was very busy and food was delayed, anyone who is Muslim who live in Hong Kong or came to Hong Hong as a tourist, who want to eat halal food should visit this place.
Any desi / India veg or non veg would like this restaurant.
Where the shop is located is amazing, it small Greenery town, it's different from busy Hong Kong.
I would consider this restaurant as street food like restaurant, you can't consider hygiene.
The fried momos / fried dumplings was amazing! Must try.
Their butter naan was out of the world, the best I ever tired, very soft.
We tried chicken BBQ and beef kabab, taste was good but it had smell, maybe it was from egg add to mixture to kabab and BBQ, I am not sure if they added egg, but I personally didn't like the smell in my food.
We also had mutton keema, my friend liked it but I felt it was not original Pakistani keema.
We also had fish fillet, kids would like it, it was soft and its not spicy at all once again I didn't didn't like the smell.
I would suggest anyone to visit this restaurant, it's unique experience, in the same area, 15min drive from taxi their is strawberry farm, where kids and adults and family can pluck strawberry, this experience was amazing, after finishing than you shoud visit this restaurant.
And I would recommend all to give your feedback on Google map reviews so it can...
