Brasas y Leños — Restaurant in Cartago

After people raving so much about this place we made a must go on our trip. Personally i am big on judging customer service and must say this place is way under staffed for the amount of people they welcome, I am writing this after giving the restaurant a second chance. We were a party of seven, got there around 7 pm restaurant was at about 90% capacity, we were given a table less than 10 mts after arriving. We called our waitress several times to get our drink order taken and since we saw that it was difficult for them to take an order we place our whole order at once at around 7:30- 7:40. After this we got our food close to 9:40ish almost 10pm as we Were about to walk out starving! So if you go, don’t go hungry. We ordered churrasco, punta de anca and fillet mignon my churrasco was really hard to even cut with knife. However my husbands fillet mignon was delicious; I he rest of the order was really good again except for The churrasco. Please know they don’t offer anything else other than meat i tried ordering chorizo for my daughter and said no chorizo unless i would order a whole picada platter. A famous place in Cartago, that originally began as a little grill cart on a dirt road and grew into a full blown restaurant, its reputation is well deserved.

Los cortes estaban deliciosos, con buena presentación y buena porción. Pero lo que resaltó es que un día como el domingo que es tan frecuente deberían de mejorar en el servicio, como por ejemplo manejar reservas y no estar recibiendo más de lo que puedan atender porque se vuelve algo realmente desagradable ya que el servicio colapsa y es donde se cometen errores y se pierde la experiencia, solo por mencionar es tal el retraso que tuvimos que esperar 15 minutos para que nos sirvieran las bebidas que por cierto eran cervezas, gaseosas es decir algo que no ameritaba una preparación.

Actualización de reseña hoy 17/09/22, 5 meses después de dejar la primera vuelvo a este establecimiento, ratificó los cortes son buenos pero siguen fallando en el servicio en este caso la dueña que es la encargada de caja, fatal la atención en el momento de cancelar, no sabía que las políticas de pago las ponían los restaurantes al momento de pagar con tarjeta, hasta donde tengo conocimiento uno es libre de diferir sus pagos y no los dueños que y a perte de eso responde con tres piedras en la mano.
