Cocina a Leña La Cobaneña — Restaurant in Cóbano

Absolute rubbish! This was the 2nd worst food we've eaten in CR (better only than a restaurant next to the ferry stop which could be excused for being trash - it's a restaurant next to the ferry! We didn't expect much there.). The tacos were really taquitos (with 3X more cabbage than taquitos) and the burrito was not much bigger and both were simply deep fried. Where's the wood oven others mentioned in the reviews??! Taste was NOT special at all. They slathered everything with ketchup which is not special at all. Combined with the excessive amounts of mayo on the salad (yes, it had globs of ketchup and mayo on the salad) tasted like the fixings from a BK whopper. We've had WAY too many good authentic CR meals to know that this is not simply a cultural issue we had at this restaurant.
