Likely the best microbrewery you’ll ever visit, certainly best in class in all of Costa Rica. Good vibes, and phenomenal brews. The owner, Alaks takes a personalized and hands on approach to every detail starting first with masterfully crafted beers. My personal favorite is the Helles Brother Lager, but the beauty is they always have a rotating seasonal selection to choose from. A taste for every discerning brew lovers palette.

The on-site restaurant has a chill vibe with great beach bite style tapas / small plates & killer larger plates with a great burger & nachos.

It’s also a great place to grab beers on the way to your Flamingo / Potrero accommodations on the way from the airport. Or even better, plan a great night out with your group and enjoy the ever awesome play lists and slow Pura Vida vibes.

Luckily BOA is also on the menu at several great local restaurants so be sure to ask for it! You can’t go...

My recent visit to Brothers Of Ale Brewing left me with mixed feelings. On the positive side, the staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout my meal. Their service was a definite highlight.

However, the food itself didn't quite hit the mark for me. The presentation was very uninspired, almost bland. I ordered the Hawaii Burger, and while the menu described it with pineapple, it arrived notably without it, which was disappointing as that's why I chose it. Furthermore, as the picture showed, it came without any sides, which I found completely unjustified given the price. For what I paid, I expected a more complete dish.

The saving grace of the evening was the beer, which was delicious. It was good enough to warrant the two stars I'm giving this review. While the friendly service and tasty beer were appreciated, the underwhelming food and its presentation meant the overall experience was a bit...

This place is seemingly stuck out in the middle of nowhere (actually between Huacas and Brasilito - not that far), but the beer is good (not surprisingly) and so is the food! I can say the eating area is.....original, at best. You need to sit on benches with no backs (so older people and those with weak backs might have some difficulty sitting through their meals). However, the tables are well separated, so kids can run around without being too annoying. And they have misters for hot weather. One drinks option is to have 5 samplers. Thus, it is an interesting dining experience and worth the visit. But I score it 4 because of the...

Wings were amazing!!! Beer is very good as well. We stopped by the day prior on our way to our next hotel stay. The beers were delicious and balanced, not overly malty like some in CR tend to be. When we were leaving the chef was making a homemade chimichurri sauce that looked ridiculous. Found out they mop the wings with it while cooking them on the open grill. Stopped in the next day for wings and a pint and holy # the wings were awesome. Burgers and tacos that other tables had gotten looked super legit, too. Busy with locals and travelers both times we were there, so that's a good sign for sure. Go for the beer, go for the food, just go.
