Quelites Restaurant — Restaurant in Cirrí Sur

While staying at the attached Chayote Lodge on a visit to celebrate my wife’s birthday we enjoyed several excellent meals at Quelites. Highlights were the Lomitos in Black Pepper Sauce, the spinach stuffed chicken and the Casados (con Chuleta). The beef was super tender and the Casado platter was huge! Service was attentive and prompt thanks to our friend Minor who comes with experience on a Cruise Ship and is quick, friendly and responsive. Highly recommended. We came as a group of 8 hungry travelers on a week night. We were the only customers at the time except for two other tables of people who were staying at the cabins there. Fuimos a Celebrar el día del Padre con mi familia y No quedamos satisfechos con la comida ni con la atención recibida. Espero esto sirva para mejoras en el lugar ya que es un lugar bonito para disfrutar, el clima agradable y el Restaurante en si tiene buena apariencia. Lo primero a lo que referiré es que duraron en servir el almuerzo fue alrededor de 1 hora sin dudarlo. Luego nos trajeron un fresco sin hielo y cargado de azúcar todo insípido. Cuando llego la comida nada estaba delicioso para el costo de cada platillo que oscilaba a ₡7.500 el mas barato. El arroz con ternera fue el que según nosotros estuvo mejor pero luego causo problemas estomacales. El pollo a la guayaba fue el peor no se ni expresar lo terrible que sabía fue con comer jalea y ponerle el pollo a la par. Dulce, chocante al estómago, les falta mucha culinaria para un platillo así Y para concluir con esta fea odisea Los arroz con camarones no sabían a nada.
