We loved restaurante mi casa! We tried it for lunch and had the traditional plate for two. For the first time all trip the meat was cooked perfectly and not over done. The owner assured us they would be open on Christmas Day and gave us a 10% off coupon. We of course came back the next day for dinner. I ordered the casados w/ beef and my husband got the fajitas. Both meals were delicious! For dessert the server recommended the apple pie. This is a small, family owned and operated restaurant with a bodega feel, with delicious food! I got tortilla soup and ceviche from them, and they both were delicious. I had gone on a whim on my first day in Fortuna and this place was not just DELICIOUS, but well priced with wonderful owners and an amazing atmosphere. Most people I think would be hesitant because it’s over a little bridge, but it is SO WORTH IT. Also on the way to El Salto Rope Swing. Ended my last night in Fortuna here as well.
